Does sanAtana dharma (hinduism) "approve" of LGBTQ

There is a concerted propaganda being driven to the effect that LGBTQ is somehow "approved" in sanaatana dharma. Given that the "evidence" given is extremely laughable and trivial, it is better that we deal with them in some sort of a Q&A.

A humble attempt -
Q1. Is LGBTQ approved in hinduism?
A - It is as approved as much any other human weakness / infarction / disease. The idea being any weakness should be overcome or prevented from spreading and making society weak.

Q2. Why do you think that way? LGBTQs are as normal as any other.
A - Any normal person wouldn't go up to another in the face and say "I am normal". If he does so, it immediately raises suspicion of he being abnormal. The problem with LGBTQ activism is exactly that. They first try to prove that they are "normal", then they try to make it the "norm". E.g. some organizations in Canada trying to brook 72 different categories LGBTQ and imposing on everyone that a person should be called by the "appropriate" gender pronoun.

Q3. Why is it a problem?
Because activists want to make this as "normal" now. Later they will seek to make it a "norm". There is enough victimhood literature being peddled about LGBTQs. They have invaded curricula in west to "sensitize" children to the different categories. Surely they are not victims, but self righteous ones wearing the garb of victimhood.

The distortions concerning sanaatana dharma texts -
Q4. Sanatana Dharma allows LGBTQ.
A - As much as it allows Lepers or TB patients to live their lives, viz. take medication for what they are suffering from, and not bother others with whatever they are not able to cure themselves of. TB patients who don't take TB medicine as prescribed are taken to isolation wards of hospitals and force-fed medicine.

Q5. What about king Ila (इल)? Wasn't he a transsexual?
A - No. Not at all. This propaganda is debunked here.

Q6. Weren't varuNa and mitra partners, what about the other similar stories?
A - Every "story" in sanaatana dharma happens at three levels - adhidaiva, adhyAtma and adhibhUta. adhidaiva = that which is connected to the devas, adhyAtma = that which is concerned with the mind / body. adhibhUta = that which is concerned with nature. Without proper training under a guru, there is the real fear of people mistaking metaphor for real. To make it very simple and understandable, take the following example: when one says "raama was a lion", no sane person asks "how big was his mane". The distortions of texts by LGBTQ cretins are specious as one example above had illustrated. They do it so unconsciously that the actual story will be the exact opposite of their wish.
Moreover, every story in sanaatana dharma is not for the minute details but to convey something of transcendental (timeless) importance. If one doesn't understand this, one will get bogged down in the details and miss the wood for the trees. Moreover, anyone who is on a fishing expedition in sanaatana dharma is bound to get a great amount of material because there is great amount of material.

Q7. What about the mention of various types of "gay" men in nArada smRRiti?
A - A smRRiti by definition is a book of law. It should address almost all sorts of deviant behaviour. If the Indian Criminal Procedure Code or Penal Code has provisions against cannibalism, it doesn't mean that there was an epidemic problem of cannibalism in the Indian society at the time the code was written.

Q8. What about the mentions in Sushruta Samhita?
A - Just like a smRRiti is a handbook against deviations in society, a medical book which the Sushruta Samhita is, is concerned with deviations in mental / physical wellbeing. Therefore it is not surprising that it has such mentions.

Q9. Weren't there laws to prevent harassment of homosexuals in Hindu law books?
A - 1. Any weak in the society have to be protected. This is on the fair condition that they are indeed weak and not projecting their weakness as some sort of aspirational norm. 2. Those were the days when there was no brainless LGBTQ activism trying to influence children into deviant behaviour by making the purported normal as the norm. 3. The access for perversionary material (porn on demand) was almost absent.

Q10. Why do you make the third point above?
A - That is a bit more subtle and will need the background of yoga, Ayurveda etc. Whenever a person is always thinking of sex, he is bound to lose vital fluid. The vital fluid is called "viirya", i.e. that which gives "valour", "vigour" and such manly qualities. Loss of vital fluid will make a person less and less vigorous over time. (As usual, there will be those who will give you exceptions among people to try to prove this wrong. But then, we aren't bothered by those because we have sound backing of our paramparaa on this issue).

Q11. Is Hinduism then homophobic?
A - If not "celebrating" TB and Leprosy is TB-phobism and Leprosy-phobism, we do indeed need such phobias. Using the word "phobic" is an easy excuse to escape any logical scrutiny. Therefore, it is better to cross that threshold in our discussion. We don't want you killed, but we don't want you to be polluting our future generations either. There is nothing in you to be "celebrated".

Conclusion - LGBTQ-ness is not criminal in India anymore. But this doesn't mean that LGBTQ activists can go around spreading their victimhood everywhere. We are extremely concerned about their efforts to push their victimhood into curricula meant for young children. We will not bother you until you bother us. There is nothing special in you that you need to take out "pride" parades. If you think you are normal, keep away from such inane activities.
